Graphics Interface papers are distributed for review electronically. Our paper format is based on the format used for IEEE Visualization and Graphics conferences. Papers have a maximum length of eight pages in the correct format. Pages beyond eight are subject to page charges. Papers as short as four pages can be accepted.
For your submission please conform as closely as possible to the standard GI format. On the IEEE VGTC Formatting Guidelines webpage you will find detailed instructions along with LaTex and word templates for generating PDF files.
You are also encouraged to submit supporting files, such as videos or source code. Uploaded videos should be encoded in a high quality format (e.g., MPEG-4) that works across as many platforms as possible without the installation of additional codecs. For instance, it is best if your video will play properly with vanilla versions of Windows Media Player, or Quicktime, or VLC player. Please note that your total submission size cannot exceed 50.0 MB, including your submission document and any additional material. If you cannot comply with this limit, please contact one of the conference chairs.
GI uses a double-blind reviewing approach. Manuscripts submitted for review should be anonymous. Please do not use your name or names in the headers or title, and avoid using any images characteristic of your lab. Do not refer to your own work as "yours" or "the authors"; use third person in all references.
Once your paper is accepted, you must prepare your camera ready pdf and other materials by following these final submission preparation guidelines. You may wish to organize your camera paper such that any important use of colour in figures appears only on two pages. These may be any two pages of your choosing. That is, these pages need not be the first two or last two, but can be anywhere in the paper. Page charges apply for printing more than two pages in colour. All other pages of your paper will print in black and white. Grayscale images and figures will print without any problems on all pages.
